NOTE: All transmitters which are to be recognized by Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR) must be programmed in a single programming sequence. If system is placed in program mode, all previously programmed transmitters will be erased upon receipt of programming signal from first transmitter. Up to four transmitters may be programmed.

Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located below driver side of instrument panel, near steering column.
Turn ignition switch to RUN position.
Using scan tool, select REMOTE FUNCTION ACTUATION special function. Select PROGRAM KEY FOBS and RCDLR will enter program mode. Doors will lock and unlock to confirm program mode.

NOTE: Scan tool must stay connected until all transmitters are programmed.

Press and hold LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously on first transmitter. After a 15 second delay, doors will lock and unlock to confirm programming of transmitter.
Repeat previous step to program up to four transmitters.
Remove scan tool.
Operate transmitter functions to verify system operation.

When to See a Mechanic

Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

• You smell fuel, burning insulation, or see smoke.

• Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.

• The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.

• You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.

• You are not confident in the next step or safety outcome.
