Cruise Control Module (RHD Domestic)

2001 Saturn SC1 L4-1.9L SOHC VIN 8SECTION Cruise Control Module (RHD Domestic)
REMOVAL




1. Ignition Off.
2. Remove Connector Position Assurance (CPA) retainer and disconnect cruise control module harness connector.
3. Disconnect cruise control rod bracket from accelerator pedal by squeezing tabs.
4. Remove nuts attaching cruise control module to steering column and remove cruise control module.

INSTALLATION




1. Install cruise control module to steering column bracket using three nuts.

Torque:
Cruise Control Module-to-Steering Column
Bracket: 6 N.m (53 in-lbs)

2. Connect cruise control rod bracket to accelerator cable.

CAUTION: ADJUST CRUISE CONTROL CABLE EACH TIME CRUISE CONTROL MODULE IS REMOVED OR REPLACED. THROTTLE OPERATION COULD BE AFFECTED. REFER TO "CRUISE CONTROL MODULE ROD ADJUSTMENT" PROCEDURE.

3. Connect cruise control module harness connector. Push in connector until a click is heard and pull back to confirm a positive engagement.
4. Adjust cruise cable adjuster. Refer to "Cruise Control Module Rod Adjustment".
