- Perform VEHICLE ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If body control module diagnostic system check has been performed, go to next step.
- Check for short to ground in Purple wire between BCM and all other modules on class-2 serial data line. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair as necessary and retest operation.
