BTSI Solenoid

2000 Saturn SC2 Automatic, MP6SECTION BTSI Solenoid

Check solenoid connector for open, spread or corroded terminals. Remove BTSI solenoid. Ground terminal "A" of BTSI solenoid and apply battery voltage to terminal "B". See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . When battery voltage is applied to BTSI solenoid, actuator rod should not be able to move. If actuator rod can move with battery voltage applied, replace BTSI solenoid. See BTSI SOLENOID  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
