2000 Saturn LW2 AutomaticSECTION Transaxle Position Switch (A/T) Test

Disconnect transaxle position switch Gray 7-pin connector on "L" series, or Gray 2-pin connector on "S" series. Transaxle position switch is located on top of transaxle, between transaxle and shift linkage. See Fig 2 . On "L" series, connect a fused jumper wire between transaxle position switch harness connector terminals "E" and "G". See Fig 1 . On "S" series, connect a fused jumper wire between transaxle position switch harness connector terminals. On all models, turn ignition switch to START position. If engine cranks, replace transaxle position switch.
