- If vehicle battery was disconnected or Powertrain Control Module (PCM) was replaced, turn ignition off. Reconnect PCM battery feed. Turn A/C off. Set parking brake and block drive wheels. Start engine.
- Idle engine until it reaches operating temperature. Shift transmission into Drive. Allow engine to idle for 5 minutes. Shift transmission selector into Park. Allow engine to idle another 5 minutes. Turn engine off for 30 seconds. Vehicle should now be returned to learned idle.
