Locks And Security BCM
2000 Saturn LS2 V6-3.0L VIN RSECTION Locks And Security BCM
REMOVAL

1. Open glove compartment door.
2. Remove glove compartment lamp assembly by pulling on lamp plunger.
3. Disconnect glove compartment lamp wiring harness from glove compartment lamp.

4. Remove R/S lower I/P closeout panel (hush panel) retainers.
5. Pull closeout panel rearward to detach from forward retainers.

6. Remove R/S heater outlet assembly retainer and remove outlet.

7. Remove glove compartment door fasteners and door.

8. Remove glove compartment bin fasteners.

9. Slowly remove glove compartment bin tilting bin downward to expose the BCM module residing on top of the glove compartment.
10. Remove BCM module from glove compartment by depressing locking tab and sliding module out of attaching slots.
11. Disconnect BCM removing connector J4 (8-way) first.
INSTALLATION

1. Connect BCM installing connector J4 (8-way) last.
2. Secure BCM module to glove compartment bin slots.

3. Route glove compartment lamp wiring harness through lamp opening.
4. Install glove compartment bin to I/P with fasteners.
Torque: 2.5 N.m (22 in-lbs)
5. Connect glove compartment lamp wiring harness to glove compartment lamp.
6. Snap lamp into glove compartment bin.

7. Install heater outlet with retainer.

8. Install glove compartment door and fasteners.
Torque: 2 N.m (18 in-lbs)

9. Install R/S lower I/P closeout panel (hush panel) with retainers.
10. Function glove compartment lamp and door to ensure proper operation.
11. Program BCM, Programming and Relearning
1. Open glove compartment door.
2. Remove glove compartment lamp assembly by pulling on lamp plunger.
3. Disconnect glove compartment lamp wiring harness from glove compartment lamp.
4. Remove R/S lower I/P closeout panel (hush panel) retainers.
5. Pull closeout panel rearward to detach from forward retainers.
6. Remove R/S heater outlet assembly retainer and remove outlet.
7. Remove glove compartment door fasteners and door.
8. Remove glove compartment bin fasteners.

11. Program BCM, Programming and Relearning
