Temperature Cable
2000 Saturn LS2 V6-3.0L VIN RSECTION Temperature Cable
REMOVAL

1. Remove control head.
2. Remove R/H console closeout panel.
CAUTION: HEATER CORE PIPES MAY BE HOT!
3. Remove cable from module retaining clip using first two fingers to pull outward on cable while using thumb to spread retaining clip.

4. Remove cable from temperature door lever by squeezing end of pin and pulling cable eyelet outward.
INSTALLATION

1. Route new cable in through control head opening in I/P Cable housing flag goes to control head end.
2. Guide cable outward of I/P support brace.
IMPORTANT: Do not install cable housing into retaining clip at this time.
3. Install cable eyelet onto temperature door lever pin.
4. Install control head.
ADJUSTMENT

1. Place temperature control knob in full cold position.
2. Rotate temperature door lever fully forward and press cable housing into retaining clip.
3. Cycle control head temperature lever from full cold to full hot to verify proper operation.
4. Install R/H console closeout panel.
