Circuit Description
The intake manifold contains an intake plenum switchover valve. It is a moveable divider that changes the airflow characteristics of the intake manifold. Switchover vacuum solenoid valve is controlled by ECM. The control circuit is continuously monitored for an open condition, short to voltage or short to ground. DTC will set when fault detection circuit senses a voltage other than what is expected.
DTC will set when:
- Engine speed greater than 40 RPM.
- Battery voltage 7.5-14.0 volts.
