Circuit Description
The EGR solenoid and pintle valve assembly helps reduce combustion temperature. Voltage on EGR solenoid signal wire should be between 0-5 volts. This voltage is monitored continuously. DTC will set when EGR should become slow to respond or begins to deviate from commanded position.
