2000 Saturn LS1 L4-2.2L VIN FSECTION Crankshaft Relearn Procedure
IMPORTANT: Anytime a replacement PCM is installed the PCM must relearn the crankshaft notches.

When a replacement PCM is installed, or crankshaft position sensor or crankshaft or engine has been replaced, follow these procedures to relearn crankshaft notches:
1. Using Scan tool select "Crankshaft Pos. Variation Learn" under special functions menu.
2. Follow instructions as given on Scan tool.

IMPORTANT: This procedure will not be initiated if any misfire is detected. If misfire DTCs are present, refer to "Misfire Diagnosis" section prior to attempting to relearn crankshaft notches.

When to See a Mechanic
