Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) Poor Transmitter Range (Rotate Position of Body Control Module (BCM) 180° in Vehicle)

MODELS AFFECTED:
2000 - 2001 Saturn L-Series vehicles equipped with remote keyless entry (RPO RFA) up to and including VIN 1Y570729

CONDITION:
Some customers may comment of poor RKE range while trying to lock or unlock the vehicle.

CAUSE:
This condition may be caused by orientation of internal antenna within the BCM.

CORRECTION:
Verify condition and rotate BCM in vehicle 180°.

CLAIM INFORMATION:
To receive credit for this repair during the warranty coverage period, submit a claim through the Saturn Dealer System for N4800 (Computer (Control), Body - R&R or Replace).
