Abs Module: Removal

1998 Saturn SC1 AutomaticSECTION Removal
  1. ABS module is located under instrument panel top cover above steering column. ABS module is mounted on bracket next to Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Using screwdriver, carefully remove instrument panel top cover bolt caps. Remove 2 instrument panel top cover retaining screws. Carefully lift instrument panel top cover to disengage clips and remove top cover.
  2. Remove sound insulator. Loosen ABS module retaining nut. Lift ABS module upward and disengage from mounting bracket. Disconnect ABS module electrical connector and remove module from vehicle.
