1994 Saturn SL2 AutomaticSECTION Description

Lever control switch assembly (combination switch) is mounted to top end of steering column. See Fig 1. Ignition switch is attached to rear of lock cylinder. See Figure and Figure. All vehicles have driver-side Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) system (air bag). SIR coil assembly is mounted to top of lever control switch assembly, under steering wheel. See Fig 1.

WARNING: All vehicles are equipped with air bag. Refer to SERVICE PRECAUTIONSΒ . Also, refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEMΒ  before attempting any repairs to steering column or components.
