WARNING: Some of the following service procedures require that ABS motors be cycled up and down using "Scan" tester. DO NOT drive or operate vehicle with ABS hydraulic control unit in tension-released position. With tension released, excessive pedal travel and reduced brake effectiveness could occur. Always perform "Scan" tester SPECIAL TEST, RUN ABS MOTORS, and PISTONS UP-HOME functions before driving vehicle.
