Code 26 - TCC Stuck On: Description
PCM should release TCC by opening ground circuit of TCC line actuator. PCM monitors TCC by comparing engine speed to turbine speed. If PCM detects the same engine-to-turbine speed after TCC is commanded off, PCM will set code 26.
- If present, go to information flag listed. Using flow charts, check for possible causes of trouble code.
- See ACTUATOR QUICK CHECKΒ under SELF-DIAGNOSTICS. Ensure clicking sound from TCC line actuator is similar to clicking sound of other line actuators.
