Safety Warning

Driver's Window
The driver's power window switch is located in the power window master switch assembly. When the power window switch, for the driver's window is put in the RAISE position, the driver's window motor operates to raise the window until either the power window switch is released or the circuit breaker located within the motor assembly disables the motor.
The driver's window has a two-position LOWER power window switch, with the second position latching to provide an EXPRESS DOWN feature. When the driver's power window switch is placed in the first LOWER position (before passing the detent) the window operates in the same manner as the front passenger's window. When the driver's power window switch is placed in the second LOWER position (past the detent), it latches in that position and the corresponding motor operates to lower the window regardless of weather the operator continues to apply force to the power window switch. The motor deactivates when either the power window switch is momentarily moved toward the RAISE position (unlatching the switch), or by the express down function. The express down latch position releases within five seconds by a built in timer.
