Vehicle Speed Sensor Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the harness connector.
2. Remove the bolt (2).
3. Remove the vehicle speed sensor (1).
4. Remove the O-ring seal (3).
Installation Procedure
1. Install the O-ring seal (3) on the vehicle speed sensor (1).
2. Coat the O-ring seal (3) with a thin film of transmission fluid.
3. Install the vehicle speed sensor (1) into the transmission case.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).
4. Install the bolt (2) and tighten to 11 Nm (97 in. lbs.)
5. Connect the wiring harness electrical connector to the vehicle speed sensor.
6. Refill the fluid as required.
