Memory Seat Control Module Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the 3 seat switch bezel screws. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Adjuster Switch Bezel Replacement (Driver or Passenger Seat Adjuster Switch Bezel Replacement).
2. Remove 4 nuts that attach the seat pan to the seat assembly.
3. Remove the clip from the front outboard seat pan stud. Discard the clip.
4. Lift the seat pan up in order to allow access to the seat control module retaining screw.
5. Remove the seat control module retaining screw.
6. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the seat control module as necessary.
7. Remove the seat control module from the seat assembly.
Installation Procedure
1. Align and install the locating tabs on the seat control module with the seat pan.
2. Connect the electrical connectors to the seat control module as necessary.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).
3. Install the screw that retains the seat control module to the seat pan and tighten to3 Nm (26 in. lbs.).
4. Install the seat pan to the seat assembly.
5. Install the nuts which retain the seat pan to the seat assembly and tighten to25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
6. Install the 3 seat switch bezel screws. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Adjuster Switch Bezel Replacement (Driver or Passenger Seat Adjuster Switch Bezel Replacement).
7. Calibrate the seat. Refer to Memory Seat Calibration (Procedures).
