Ground Circuit

- Turn ignition off. Measure resistance between specified ECM terminal and ground. See GROUND TERMINAL IDENTIFICATIONΒ . Resistance should be zero ohms. If resistance is as specified, go to next step. If resistance is not as specified, repair open circuit between ECM and ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMS article.
- Start engine. Measure voltage between specified ECM terminal and ground. See Figure. If one volt or more is present, inspect for open circuit, corrosion, or loose connection on appropriate circuit.
