1982 Porsche 928 Automatic TransSECTION Resistor Resistance Check
NOTE: This test does not apply to Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

Set an ohmmeter in the low scale. Be sure ignition switch is "OFF". Check resistance of each resistor in the primary circuit. See Figure. Some manufacturers use resistor wires instead of ballast resistors. Most use 2 ballast resistors.
