Removal Procedure

Disable the occupant protection system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
Remove the steering wheel inflatable restraint. Refer to Steering Wheel Inflatable Restraint Module Replacement .
Remove the steering wheel. Refer to Steering Wheel Replacement .
Remove the steering wheel hub to rear cover screws (1).
