FUEL LEVEL SENSOR REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
NOTE: Cap the fittings and plug the holes when servicing the fuel system in order to prevent dirt and other contaminants from entering the open pipes and passages.
1. Remove the fuel pump module.
2. Depress the retaining tab on the fuel level sensor and begin to slide the sensor away from the pump module.
3. Carefully slide the sensor (2) the rest of the way off of the pump module.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Carefully slide the fuel level sensor (2) into the slots on the fuel pump module bowl.
2. Secure the retaining tab on the sensor into the slot on the pump module bowl.
3. Install the fuel pump module.
