Installation Procedure

Install the BCM bracket (1) as an assembly if required.
NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
Install the BCM bracket nuts (2) if required.
Tighten

Tighten the nuts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

Install the BCM into the BCM bracket until lock tabs are fully seated.
Connect the BCM electrical connectors to the BCM.
Install the BCM wire harness retainer to the BCM bracket.
Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECT/CONNECT PROCEDURE .
Reprogram the BCM. Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) PROGRAMMING/RPO CONFIGURATION .
