Diagnostic Aids

Water or foreign material can cause a no start during freezing weather. Vehicle may start after a few minutes in a heated shop but problem will reoccur again after an overnight freeze. An EGR sticking or leaking can cause a lean condition during cranking. If engine is flooded, ensure engine enters clear flood mode at first indication of flooding by opening throttle fully during cranking.
