Safety Warning
DIY auto repair can cause serious injury, fire, or vehicle damage. These guides are for informational purposes only. Always follow OEM torque specs, wear PPE, and consult a certified mechanic if you are unsure. You are solely responsible for your safety.
Idle Speed Control Solenoid
Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect Idle Speed Control (ISC) solenoid harness connector. Measure resistance between ISC solenoid connector terminal (Light Blue wire) and ground. If resistance is not about 10 ohms, replace solenoid. If resistance is 10 ohms, IAC solenoid is okay. See TEST KE under SYSTEM TESTS in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - VILLAGER article for additional testing and specifications.
