2001 Mercury Villager BaseSECTION Remote Transmitter
  1. Enter vehicle. Ensure all doors are closed and locked. Insert and remove key from ignition switch more than 6 times within 10 seconds to erase old remote transmitter code. Instrument panel lights will flash to indicate programming mode has been entered.
  2. Turn key to accessory position. This will erase all previous codes. Press any button on remote transmitter once. Parking lights will flash twice to indicate new code is accepted. To program an additional remote transmitter, unlock then lock driver's door using interior master door lock switch. Press any button on additional remote transmitter(s). Parking lights will flash twice to indicate new code is accepted. Open front door to exit programming. Parking lights will flash twice to confirm exiting programming mode. Up to 4 remote transmitters can be programed.
