Center Front Sensor: Notes

NOTE: Vehicle sensor orientation is critical for proper system operation. If a vehicle equipped with SRS is involved in a collision, and fenders or grille area have been damaged, inspect sensor mounting brackets for deformation. If damaged, system should be deactivated to ensure air bag does not deploy. Damaged sensor(s) should be replaced, whether or not air bag has been deployed. Ensure body structure in area of sensor mounting is restored to its original construction.
