Door Glass Rear Channel Adjustment
NOTE:
The rear channel adjustment must be correct to ensure that door glass moves freely up and down.
- Lower door glass.
- Remove lower door trim panel. See DOOR TRIM PANEL under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Loosen two longitudinal adjustment bolts on rear channel adjuster. See Figure .
- Raise and lower door glass, then tighten adjustment bolts to 24-28 INCH Lbs. (2.7-3.2 N. m).
- Loosen lateral adjuster screw locknut and turn adjuster screw in or out to relieve any tension on door glass channel. Tighten locknut to 45-61 INCH Lbs. (5-7 N. m).
- Raise and lower door glass to ensure it moves freely up and down.
- Install lower door trim panel. See DOOR TRIM PANEL under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
