Modifying Fuel Pump Relay

- Using new Fuel Pump Relay (E3EB-9345-BA,-CA,-DA or E3TF-9345-AA), drill 1/8" (3.2 mm) hole in side of relay skirt. Hole should be in-line with row of 3 pins and as close to base of relay as possible. Part of relay skirt may be cut away to provide easier access to pins.
- Solder 16-18 gauge jumper wire between pin Nos. 2 and 4. Feed 1 end of 8-10 ft. flexible wire through hole drilled in relay skirt and solder to pin No. 1. Leads should be soldered as close to relay base as possible to permit insertion of relay into socket with minimum interference. Solder alligator clip to other end of 8-10 ft. flexible wire.
