2023 Mazda CX-5 SSECTION Malfunction indication function
- The malfunction indication function turns on/flashes the warning lights in the instrument cluster when a malfunction is detected and displays warnings on the center display and the multi-information display to notify the driver of a malfunction.
- If a malfunction occurs in the engine control system, the check engine light turns on.
- When the PCM determines that a system is continuously normal for 3 drive cycles, it turns off the check engine light, and when it determines that the system is continuously normal for 41 warm-up cycles, it clears the DTC.
NOTE:
- A warm-up cycle is a drive cycle including the period until the engine is completely warmed up after a cold-engine starts. This cycle repeated 41 times is a 41 warm-up cycle.
