Rear Window Defogger Repair

2023 Mazda CX-5 SSECTION Rear Window Defogger Repair
  1. Clean and degrease the area of the rear window defogger.
  2. Affix tape along both sides of the rear window defogger to be repaired.

  3. Apply commercially available silver paint using a fine-tipped tool such as a small brush or a drawing pen.
  4. Peel off the tape being careful not to damage the painted area.
    CAUTION:
    • Do not operate the rear window defogger until the repaired area is completely dried to prevent a malfunction.
  5. Follow the instructions for the commercially available silver paint and dry the repaired area.
