Quick Check

  1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
  2. Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).
  3. Perform the following procedure using the M-MDS.
    1. Press [Start] for the vehicle identification.
    2. Press the [Quick Check] tab.
  4. Verify DTCs following the instructions on the screen.
    • If any DTCs are displayed, perform troubleshooting according to the corresponding DTC inspection after recording the freeze frame data/snapshot data.
    NOTE:
    • Each module condition can be determined by the color of the displayed module.
      • Green: No DTCs
      • Red: Communication Error
      • Blue: No Communication or Not Equipped
      • Orange: DTC(s) exist
      • Gray: DTC Not Supported
    • If a module displayed in orange (DTC(s) exist) is selected, the DTCs stored in the selected module are displayed in a list.
    • If the following icon is selected, the DTCs stored in all the modules are displayed in a list.

    • If the following icon is selected on the DTC list screen, the freeze frame data/snapshot data relative to the applicable DTC is displayed.
