2021 Mazda 3 BaseFACTORY OEM SERVICE PROCEDURE

Fuse Block Removal/Installation: Removal

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
Remove the following parts:
1. Front scuff plate (LH). (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Front side trim (LH). (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove all the fuses.
Cut the bands shown in the figure.

Disconnect the wiring harness connectors.

Remove the fuse block tab from the bracket.

Set the removed fuse block aside so that it does not scratch the vehicle and parts.
Remove the cover from the fuse block.

While pressing the wiring harness clip tab in the direction of the arrows (1) shown in the figure, push out the wiring harness clip in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the figure to detach the wiring harness clip tabs from the fuse block.

Pull out the wiring harness clip.
