CAUTION:
- When replacing the CMP sensor, make sure there is no foreign material on it such as metal shavings. If it is installed with foreign material, the sensor output signal will malfunction result in from fluctuation in magnetic flux and cause a deterioration in engine control.
- Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 WITH TC] .)
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the charge air cooler cover. (SeeINTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the CMP sensor connector.
- Remove the CMP sensor.
- Install in the reverse order of removal. sensor
