IGNITION LOCK CYLINDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION










NOTE:For non-functional ignition lock cylinders, the steering column lock module has to be replaced. See Service and Repair.
1. Remove the passive anti-theft system (PATS) transceiver. See Removal and Replacement.






2. Using a suitable tool, press the release pin and remove the ignition lock cylinder.

NOTE:The ignition lock cylinder must be in the RUN position.
3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

- Verify the ignition lock cylinder operation.
