ACCELERATOR PEDAL POSITION (APP) SENSOR INSPECTION [MZI-3.7]
Sensor Output Value Inspection
1. Switch the ignition to ON.
2. Inspect the following items using the PID/DATA monitor function. Diagnostic Monitoring Test Results
- Verify that the sensor output value change smoothly while throttle valve is gradually depressed.
- APP1
- APP2
- If verified, go to the next step.
- If not as verified, replace the accelerator pedal. Service and Repair
- Verify that the sensor output value is as indicated in the table below according to the condition of the accelerator pedal.
- APP1

- If not as verified, replace the accelerator pedal. Service and Repair
