Disassembly Procedure
- Remove the torque converter, and immediately turn it so that the hole faces upward. This will help to keep any remaining fluid from spilling.
- Pull out the oil pump shaft by hand.
- Remove the oil dipstick and oil filler tube.
- Remove the O-ring from the oil filler tube.
- Remove the breather hose.
- Assemble the SST .
- Attach suitable hangers to the oil pump as shown.
- Lift the transaxle and mount it on the SST .
