- Disconnect MAF/IAT sensor. Check MAF/IAT sensor connector terminals. If connectors are okay, go to next step. If connectors are faulty, repair as necessary and go to step Β 9 .
- Check resistance between sensor terminals "A" and "F". If resistance is 16 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is more than 16 ohms, replace MAF/IAT sensor. After repair, go to step Β 9 .
- Turn ignition on. Check voltage between sensor harness connector terminal "F" (Purple wire) and ground. If battery voltage is not present, go to next step. If battery voltage is present, repair short to power. After repair, go to step Β 9 .
- Turn ignition on. Check voltage between sensor harness connector terminal "A" (Brown/Yellow wire) and ground. If battery voltage is not present, go to next step. If battery voltage is present, repair short to power. After repair, go to step Β 9 .
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect PCM connector. PCM is mounted to passenger floor, behind glove box. Check connector terminals No. 39 and No. 91. If no problem is found, go to next step. If terminals are faulty, repair as necessary. After repair, go to step Β 9 .
