Knock Sensor: MPV
Disconnect knock sensor connector. Using ohmmeter, measure resistance between knock sensor terminals "A" (Red wire) and "B" (Black wire). Resistance should be about 560,000 ohms at 68°F (20°C). If resistance is not as specified, replace knock sensor.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
