- No. 1 secondary throttle valve starts to open when primary valve opens to proper angle. See Fig 1 . Primary throttle valve should be completely open when secondary valve fully opens.
- Check clearance between primary throttle valve and throttle bore wall when No. 1 secondary valve starts to open. Clearance should be within specification. See PRIMARY THROTTLE VALVE CLEARANCEΒ table. If clearance is not within specification, bend tab until proper clearance is obtained. See Fig 2 .
