- Warm engine to normal operating temperature. Disconnect crank angle sensor connector. Hold throttle plate fully open. Remove both trailing spark plugs (the 2 top spark plugs). Connect Compression Tester (49-F018-9A0) to upper spark plug hole of front rotor housing.
- Crank engine for 5-10 seconds at specified cranking speed. Note the compression of the 3 combustion chambers. Repeat procedure at the rear rotor housing.
