Customize Parameters [09/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. CUSTOMIZE SMART ACCESS SYSTEM WITH PUSH-BUTTON START 

    HINT: 

    The following items can be customized.

    NOTE:
    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
    • Be sure to make a note of the current setting before customizing.
    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.
    1. Customizing with Techstream
      1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
      2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
      3. Turn the Techstream on.
      4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting.
      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
        SMART KEY / ACCESS

        Display (Item) Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
        Ignition Available Area All Function to permit opening luggage compartment door Front or All Certification ECU
    2. Customizing with the Multi-display
      1. Turn the power switch on (IG).
      2. Enter the following menus: SET UP / Vehicle / Vehicle Customization / Door Lock Settings.
      3. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
        DOOR LOCK SETTINGS

        Display (Item) Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
        Access System with Elec. Key On Function that enables or disables the smart access system. On / Off Certification ECU
