Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Check for DTCs.

    Result: 

    RESULT REFERENCE

    Result Proceed to
    DTC is not output A
    B2311 is output B
    B2312 is output C
    B2313 is output D
    LIN communication system DTC output reoccur E

    B: GO TO DTC B2311  (see DTC B2311 POWER WINDOW MOTOR MALFUNCTION )

    C: GO TO DTC B2312  (see DTC B2312 POWER WINDOW SWITCH MALFUNCTION )

    D: GO TO DTC B2313  (see DTC B2313 GLASS POSITION INITIALIZATION INCOMPLETE )

    E: Go to Next Step 

    A: GO TO LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM  (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )

    A: Go to Next Step 

  2. CHECK MANUAL UP / DOWN FUNCTION 
    1. Check that the manual UP/DOWN function using the master switch can operate the driver door power window

    OK: Manual UP/DOWN function operates normally. 

    NG: OTHER PROBLEM  (see DRIVER SIDE POWER WINDOW DOES NOT OPERATE WITH POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH )

    OK: Go to Next Step 

  3. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER OR TECHSTREAM (MASTER SWITCH) 
    1. Use the Data List to check if the master switch is functioning properly.
      1. Intelligent tester

        MASTER SW: 

        DATA LIST - MASTER SW

        P/W AUTO SW Driver side power window auto UP/ DOWN switch signal / ON or OFF ON Driver side power window auto UP/ DOWN switch operated
        OFF Driver side power window switch not operated
      2. Techstream

      Master Switch: 

      DATA LIST - MASTER SWITCH

      Tester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition
      D Door P/W Auto SW Driver side power window auto UP/ DOWN switch signal / ON or OFF ON Driver side power window auto UP/ DOWN switch operated
      OFF Driver side power window switch not operated

    OK: Tester display changes normally when master switch is operated. 

    NG: REPLACE MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (Seepage WS-123) 

    OK: REPLACE FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH  (see REMOVAL )
