Camshaft Timing Oil Control Valve Assembly: Installation

  1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 1) 
    1. Apply a coat of engine oil to an O-ring of the sensor.
    2. Install the camshaft timing oil control valve with the bolt.

      Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)

    3. Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.
  2. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 2) 
    1. Apply a coat of engine oil to an O-ring of the sensor.
    2. Install the camshaft timing oil control valve with the bolt.

      Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)

      Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.

  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE W/ RESONATOR (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP W/ INLET (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  5. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL  (See INSTALLATION )
  6. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM COVER SIDE  (See INSTALLATION )
  7. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE LH COVER NO.2  (See INSTALLATION )
