Engine Control System (2UZ-FE): ECM: Installation
- INSTALL ECM ASSEMBLY
- Install the ECM with the 3 screws.
Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)
- Connect the 5 ECM connectors.NOTE: Be sure to securely connect the connectors.
- Install the ECM with the 3 screws.
- INSTALL NO. 2 FINISH PANEL LOWER
- Install the No. 2 finish panel lower with the 3 screws.
- INSTALL GLOVE BOX COMPARTMENT DOOR
- Install the glove compartment door with the 2 screws.
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
- PERFORM INITIALIZATION
Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
