Integration Relay: Inspection
- INSPECT INTEGRATION RELAY
- Measure the resistance of the C/OPN relay.
- Connect the positive (+) battery lead to terminal 2A-8 and negative (-) lead to terminal 2B-3. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals when battery voltage is applied.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Specified Condition 2C-1 - 2B-7 Below 1 Ω 2C-1 - 2B-8 10 kΩ or higher - Connect the positive (+) battery lead to terminal 2A-8 and 2C-1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2B-3 and 2B-7. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminals 2C- 1 and 2B-8 when battery voltage is applied between the terminals.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Specified Condition 2C-1 - 2B-8 Below 1 Ω (When battery voltage is applied between 2A-8 and 2B-3, and 2C-1 and 2B-7) If the resistance is not as specified, replace the integration relay.
- Connect the positive (+) battery lead to terminal 2A-8 and negative (-) lead to terminal 2B-3. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals when battery voltage is applied.
- Measure the resistance of the EFI MAIN relay.
- Disconnect the EFI fuse. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
- • You smell fuel, burning insulation, or see smoke.
- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
- • You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
- • You are not confident in the next step or safety outcome.
