Window Up
- Lower window glass for window being tested. Disconnect 5-pin connector from power window motor. Check continuity between power window motor connector terminals No. 2 and 5. See Fig 1. Connect jumper wire from positive terminal of 12-volt battery to power window motor connector terminal No. 1.
- Connect another jumper wire from negative terminal of battery to power window motor connector terminal No. 4. Ensure continuity exists while window raises to fully closed position. Continuity should not exist once window stops at fully closed position. If continuity is as specified, limit switch is okay at this time. If continuity is not as specified, replace power window motor.
