Fuel Injector Operation
Remove engine cover. On all models, using a stethoscope, listen for clicking from each injector (or feel injector for vibration using a screwdriver) with engine running or cranking. If clicking is not heard, check for loose connection at fuel injector connector or fuel injector resistance. Also check for no voltage signal at injector connector. See FUEL INJECTOR RESISTANCE .

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
- • You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
