Safety Warning
DIY auto repair can cause serious injury, fire, or vehicle damage. These guides are for informational purposes only. Always follow OEM torque specs, wear PPE, and consult a certified mechanic if you are unsure. You are solely responsible for your safety.
Anti-Lock Brake System (Abs)
ABS system is 4-channel, all terrain system. It will adjust braking between smooth road and rough road conditions. ABS function is automatically enabled whenever ABS modulator is in normal braking mode. While ABS function is enabled, if SLABS ECU detects a wheel decelerating faster than average, and at the calibrated wheel slip limit for ABS operation, it operates modulator to provide braking for affected wheel. ABS operates wheels individually. During operation, brake pedal will pulsate.
